WHY HEAL
The world in which we live is changing at a rapid pace. New public health challenges are emerging in an uncertain context fueling societal imbalance and mental confusion. Whether it’s a viral pandemic, racist attack, mass shooting, drug overdose or suicide; the end result is the same – folks are dying too soon.
There is an urgent need for culturally tailored forms of design thinking to respond more effectively to social violence, health disparity and the loss of civic well-being. With longevity in mind, we rethink traditional notions of ritual and religion, barbering and beauty culture, and complementary and integrative medicine to fashion new therapeutic systems and environments for optimal health and wellness.
AMoDAOS means “Love God”, derived from the Latin amo - “to love” and Deus - “God”. We aim to build up a healing platform for Good Life performances that liberate Love of Self, Love of the Other, and Love of God.
